I consider it an absolute privilege to be your local Des Moines State Farm Agent. I’m originally from Montana but moved to Seattle to pursue a degree in air traffic control. Along my journey, I learned my passion for connecting with others and guiding them to make responsible financial decisions. Growing up in Montana, I always lived in a rural environment. The hustle and bustle of the city caught my interest and even though I love the outdoors, I really enjoy the variety of options at my fingertips whether it’s restaurants, breweries, music, or events happening in the community. My wife, Sechil, and I have found Seattle to be a great place to live. The people in our community are so open-minded and genuinely like to enjoy life. The small business scene here is incredible, and there is so much creative individuality and culture. Outside of the office, we take advantage of the beautiful parks in our neighborhood and take our two dogs, Chili, and Olive, for several walks.

I started my career with State Farm in 2006 working as an insurance account manager in another State Farm Agent’s office. Working in an agency prior to my own gave me the experience necessary to provide our customers with auto insurance, home insurance, condo insurance, renters insurance, life insurance and business insurance that fits their individual needs. When the opportunity to open my own State Farm agency presented itself in 2016, I was more than excited to get started. It’s been an amazing journey so far and I’m looking forward to continuing to help the people of King County with their insurance and financial services. Our experienced insurance team spends time creating personalized insurance plans for our customers based on what they are looking for and our office is able to connect with the diversity here in the greater Seattle area by speaking English, Spanish, and Turkish. As a small business owner, it’s important to me to give back to our community. I’m a supporter of our local Des Moines Food Bank and participate in the annual Des Moines Rotary Club’s Blues and Brews and Poverty Day Festival. We are always looking to become more involved and to create new connections and networks to improve the greater Seattle community.
